Zonnegids, concrete tips for your new solar project
Citizens' participation is one of the instruments to realise more green energy projects. More and more people are willing to invest money in wind turbines, a heat network, or solar panels on the roof of a school, the sports centre, a shop nearby.... In Flanders, about twenty energy cooperatives are active and more than 75,000 Flemish people are already affiliated as cooperatives. The Flemish Energy Agency and Flemish Minister of Energy want to make collective investments in large solar projects, better known to the public as Zonnegids.
Visuality worked with Vlaams Energieagentschap (VEA) in the development of an interactive guide with concrete tips for everyone who wants to work together on a big new solar project.
The guide (in Dutch) is very practical and will give you:
- understanding of common concerns,
- a step-by-step plan,
- an overview of the most frequently used options for starting with (financial) participation,
- a few inspiring examples.
