Visualizing a core team’s journey into the viral change trajectory of Baloise Belgium
BACKGROUND: Baloise Belgium was undergoing an internal change process prompted by an enthusiastic core team of employees.
CASE: Visuality was fascinated by the energy of the core team and their desire to motivate other peers.
The experience of the core team was undocumented and needed to be bundled to celebrate its achievements and inspire other colleagues (employees) to join the change movement inside the company.
PROCESS: We organized a co-creation session of two days together with a copywriter and members of the core team. Mara and Karen captured the insights of the change journey on flipcharts and asked the core team to share their learnings and best practices.
The information was then structured by our copywriter into a compelling textual story, which served as the backbone for our visual synthesis.
We then brought the synergy of images and texts one step further by developing a visual layout for a publication.
OUTCOME: Visualization made the story tangible and easy to share, and people in the core team were proud to see all the good work they had been doing. This publication inspired other holdings of Baloise to create change (in Belgium and Europe).
