Europe Goes Local – A European Charter on Local Youth Work
CLIENT: It was a great pleasure to work with Jint and Europe Goes Local (EGL) We worked on designing a conference that brought together 22 Youth Work Organisations from Europe in order to discuss a common European Charter on Local Youth Work. Our responsibility was to oversee and support the process by providing input and visual materials like interactive graphics for the workshops, a participants guidebook, stickers, posters and and much more. See below how it went!
WHAT IS THE CHARTER: A democratic society needs the voices and active participation of young people. In order to fulfil this role, young people need a place where they can set their own agenda. A space where they, together with their peers, can explore, articulate and develop their interests and talents, as well as their ideas for the future. A space where they get stimulation and support to further develop the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values they need in order to reach their full potential as individuals and citizens. Youth work is this space, and young people are, and must always be, its primary stakeholders.
