Visual Translation

On the spot (even if that spot is online)

We draw while you talk, making visual summaries that speak for themselves in real-time! Better than those long, written reports that don’t truly capture the vibe of the meeting, right? You might know it as: visual harvesting, graphic facilitation, visual facilitation, generative scribing or live scribing. We call it graphic recording. We do it on paper, an iPad and even through enriched pictures! You’ll leave with insights that won’t be forgotten and can be easily shared and revisited later on. Amazing, isn’t it!?

Graphic recording is an opportunity to turn a meeting into a stimulating space designed to spark fruitful discussions, encourage collective thinking, and move the process forward. It’s a thinking tool that engages your audience. By enriching your meetings conferences and processes with Graphic Recording you will create an environment that motivates people to be active participants, speak up, and share their knowledge to better reach the meetings objectives.

Frequently Asked Questions

You might know it as: visual harvesting, graphic facilitation, visual facilitation, generative scribing or live scribing. We call it graphic recording. In short, we combine visuals and words to bring what you say to life.

We can display it, as you want it! When we work on paper we can place it on boards in various sizes. But we can also hang it on the wall (provided it is flat). If you place a camera, or if we can work digitally, we can even project live on screen.

We charge by half-day (under 4 hours), and full-day (under 8 hours). If your meeting is much shorter than this or much longer we’ll have a talk and see what we can do.

Regardless of whether the graphic recording is done on paper or digitally, you will always get a cleaned up digital version of the recording in pdf and in jpeg format. If the graphic recording was made on paper, you also get the original drawing.

Of course, we can provide you with take-outs from the graphic recording. However, this takes extra work. We will charge them at our standard tariffs for studio work.

Yes, changes can be made as long as they are spelling or grammar corrections. These changes are even included in the initial price. We can also make changes in lay-out or even in the content. These changes will be charged at our standard tariffs for studio work.

Think of us like live translators. We listen actively and synthesise your ideas in words and images. We take our cues from tone and key- words to make sure we capture the essence. In addition, we have a planning call before to clarify the context of the event as well as any necessary jargon that is needed for the graphic recording.

Yes, by all means! We work for you so the result is yours. You can change the colors, flip it upside down, enlarge it, hang it on a plane and fly around town! You decide.
