Event Facilitation

We guide the process, so you create the magic. We design and facilitate conferences and events that bring people together to participate, reflect, co-create and move forward.

How can facilitation help you

You bring people together because their input matters. There’s knowledge in the room, lived experience, and the drive to move forward. But to make the most of that potential, you need more than just an open floor.

Facilitation helps you focus collective energy in the right direction – with a clear process, space for all voices, and tools that help conversations stay meaningful and productive. We make sure the group doesn’t get lost in discussion, but moves toward insight, clarity, and shared ownership.

Whether the task is big, the perspectives are diverse, or the time is limited – we help you create a space where participation feels natural, dialogue flows, and outcomes are within reach.

Of course, we prefer to do this face-to-face, in a real life meeting. However, we can give you a top-notch experience in an online or hybrid environment.

Key benefits of facilitation:
  • Real participation: We design for engagement from the start – no passive observers, just active contributors.
  • Deeper dialogue: We create a safe space to explore different perspectives and get to what really matters.
  • A clear flow and structure: We guide your group with formats that feel natural and purposeful – even when the topics are complex.
  • Tangible outcomes: Our sessions lead to more than good conversations – they lead to decisions, ideas, and next steps you can build on.

Focus on outcomes or the process

Every group is different. Sometimes, what’s needed is space: to express, to listen, to understand different points of view. In that case, we focus on the process – creating a safe and structured setting where people can truly hear and be heard.

Other times, the goal is clear: recommendations, a strategy, a set of actions. Then we focus on the content – guiding the group efficiently toward decisions and outcomes that matter.

And often, it’s a bit of both. We’re here to help you strike the right balance between meaningful dialogue and concrete results – adjusting our role to fit your purpose.

Not your one trick-pony

No group is the same – and no challenge deserves a copy-paste approach. That’s why we design every session around what’s really needed in your context: the people, the purpose, the energy in the room.

We draw from a wide range of facilitation methods and schools of thought: Sociocracy, Art of Hosting, MG Taylor, Design & Systems Thinking, Structured Dialogue, World Cafe, Open Space Technology, Appreciative Inquiry, Deep Democracy, Self-Directed Learning, Mediation and more. Sometimes it’s one clear method, sometimes it’s a mix. What matters most is that it works for you.

Whether you need structure or spaciousness, fast thinking or deep reflection – we tailor the process so your group gets what it needs to move forward.

Online, offline and hybrid

Online and hybrid meetings, conferences, and assemblies are here to stay — but the skills to run them smoothly aren’t always available in-house. That’s where we come in.

We design an event flow that works for everyone in the room – and everyone behind their screen. Whether it’s about boosting engagement, balancing online and offline energy, or just keeping people awake and involved, we’ve got your back.

During the event, we’re the invisible glue. We make sure the technology, the technicians, the organisers, and the moderator are all in sync. Everything runs smoothly so you can focus on the content, not the cables.

How It Works

Before the event

  • Preparation in co-creation with you.
  • Developing the script and the interaction tools to support the process.

During the event

  • Facilitating the sessions by (an) experienced facilitator(s).
  • Capacity to adjust the session depending on the process.

After the event

  • We send all the relevant outcomes to you
  • We debrief with you on what worked and what can be improved

FAQ

What exactly does a facilitator do?

A facilitator designs and guides the process of a meeting, workshop, or event. We don’t bring in the content — that’s your expertise. We make sure the right conversations happen, that everyone gets a voice, and that the group stays focused, engaged, and moving forward.

Do you offer a fixed method or format?

No, every conference is different. So we are not a one-size-fits-all team. We mix and match methods (like Art of Hosting, Deep Democracy, Sociocracy, MG Taylor, Design Thinking, and more) depending on your context, your goals, and the group you’re working with.

What kinds of events or sessions do you facilitate?

Everything from strategy sessions and team offsites to co-creation workshops, general assemblies, brainstorms, board meetings, stakeholder dialogues, world cafe and large conferences. Online, offline, or hybrid — we’ve done it all.

Can you help design the session, or do we need to provide a plan?

We love co-designing! You bring your purpose, we bring the process. Together, we shape a structure that fits the goals of your group — whether that means diving deep into discussion or getting to concrete outcomes.

What if our group is very diverse or there’s tension in the room?

That’s where good facilitation really shows its value. We’re trained to hold space for complexity, difference, and even discomfort — while still guiding the group toward understanding and progress. Safe doesn’t mean soft.

In what languages can you facilitate?

We regularly work in English, Dutch, and French. If you need multi-language support, we can adapt or bring in co-facilitators to fit the group.

Do you also facilitate online or hybrid meetings?

Absolutely. We’re well-equipped for online and hybrid formats. We help you keep remote participants involved, make the tech feel seamless, and ensure the experience works for everyone — not just those in the room.
